VCV 2020-21 Season

With the lifting of State Government COVID 19 travel restrictions, the 2020-21 VCV Over 50s kicked off on November 22 with 47 teams including a new Gippsland division.

The Over 60s season got away a week earlier in both metropolitan and regional Victoria with one new club – Ballarat – with Endeavour Hills fielding a second team. Clubs are asked to regularly check VCV O60s Fixture 20 – 21 V13 and MyCricket for fixture updates.

Clubs must check with local Councils or relevant authority regarding ground availability and permission to conduct training and in playing matches. Clubs having a problem in fulfilling a fixture are asked to reschedule the game or organise a substitute game in accordance with Government policy. Clubs wishing to change a fixture must advise of the change mutually agreed upon by both clubs for entry into MyCricket

Each club must have a COVID 19 officer and a COVID-19 safe plan.  Clubs are encouraged to use the Covid 19 Template in developing a COVID safe plan. Clubs and associations can access a range of resources on Cricket Victoria’s COVID-19 page, including the latest Return to Training Plan and other useful guidelines.

Changes to the VCV O60s Fixture  are updated online as they occur. Clubs are asked to check for changes on a regular basis.
