Expression of Interest for VCV O50s Club Carnival

VCV O50s are looking to garner interest from players/clubs/teams wishing to participate in a 5-day carnival at the end of the cricket season. The format will be based on the National competition, 4 games and a rest day.

With the reduction of the number of teams being sent to the National Championships, VCV understand that less players are getting the opportunity to play additional competitive cricket.

The O60s run a carnival at Echuca that has around 32 teams competing, split into 4 divisions of 8.

Some of these teams are made up of club teams, teams from composite players from two or three different teams and some are state teams (ACT). We are simply looking at guys enjoying 5 days of cricket at the end of the season.

At this stage we are looking at hosting the carnival in rural Victoria and we are looking at tentative dates of Round 1 Monday 23rd March to Round 4 Friday 27th March 2026.

Costs have obviously not been finalised, but we believe that the costs should be around $2,280 per team of 12 players. This would cover the costs of ground hire, umpires, lunches, balls etc.

If any clubs or players are interested in participating, please send us an email to vcvic50s@gmail.com and let us know.
