Jim Armstrong - 200 Veterans Cricket Victoria Games!!

Jim has been a stalwart of Veterans Cricket Victoria since its inception. This Sunday he will be playing his 200th game of VCV cricket when he dons the whites for a game against Ringwood in the O60s competition for South Gippsland.

His previous games include fixtured games in O60s and O70s, Echuca and other carnivals, one off special matches and fill in games for many clubs. This means that Jim has made appearances for over 10 clubs. He is a great example of what Veterans cricket is about, playing and enjoying cricket with mates and developing life long friendships with fellow cricket tragics. A sprightly 83 years old this year, Jim has left his mark on many clubs.
