Name Change - Veterans Cricket Victoria

Recently Veterans Cricket Australia was renamed to Cricket Australia Masters.  The reasoning behind this was due to the inference that Veterans referred to serving personnel and that the word Masters should be adopted.  All states are currently working with their peak bodies to undertake a similar process.  In Victoria we are working with Cricket Victoria on an appropriate name change and this is likely to take a few months before we are at a point where we can put forward a recommendation to the delegates to formalise any name change.

Any name change will come with a rebranding of our logo and it is the intention that uniforms for our National Championships will move to the new branding.  However there will be a period of transition where we will have players in the current uniform and some in the new rebranded uniform.  The change is expected to be modest so there will be no expectation on our players to purchase new uniforms unless they wish to.
