Victory for the Over 60s in the first ODI Grey Ashes

A great start to the Grey Ashes with an Aussie win in the first ODI at Thame.

England were asked to bat and with rain interrupting play, ended 9/201 off 42 overs. The key

bowler for Australia was Bill Blair with figures of 4/42 off nine overs. Australia successfully

chased this tally down scoring 4/206 with the winning runs being scored in the final over, off the

bat of Bill Blair. Key contributors with the bat were Walsh 58, Higgins 36, Jenson (M of M) 70 not

out and Blair 13 not out.

Rogers (our official Australian scorer) normal impeccably presented sheets.
